Welcome back!

District 39 is thrilled to announce that all four of its elementary schools (Central, Harper, McKenzie, and Romona) have been recognized as Apple Distinguished Schools for 2023-26. Today’s announcement comes on the heels of Highcrest Middle School and Wilmette Junior High School earning the recognition last year, meaning all six District 39 schools are now Apple Distinguished Schools.

After an extensive and thorough selection process, Wilmette Public Schools District 39 is pleased to announce Jackie Brennan as the next Principal of Harper Elementary School.

Harper Elementary is one of five District 39 schools that have been awarded a grant from the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation as part of its K-12 Solar Schools program, which fosters the teaching of science, math, technology, and the environment through the use of solar panels to create energy.

As a District 39 parent/family, you have an opportunity to share your thoughts on the important elements of school effectiveness about your child’s school.

District 39 has compiled health guidance and information into one easy-to-reference booklet designed to assist District 39 parents in evaluating and responding to illness.
